Problem

Wind energy investment decisions require complex meteorological and financial data analysis together. These analyses are usually done manually by experts, and reports stored in centralized systems may carry security risks.

Approach

Developed as a hackathon project:

  • Weather Data: Hourly wind speed, temperature, and pressure data from Open-Meteo ERA5 archive
  • Financial Analysis: Comprehensive financial metric calculations including LCOE, NPV, IRR, ROI, and payback period
  • Price Data: Dynamic electricity price fetching via EPİAŞ, EIA, and ENTSO-E APIs
  • AI Analysis: Investment evaluation and recommendation system with OpenAI GPT-4o
  • Blockchain: Decentralized and encrypted report storage with Sui Blockchain + Walrus + Seal protocol
  • Map: Interactive location selection with Leaflet.js

Outcome

A Web3-integrated platform where investors can perform comprehensive wind energy feasibility analysis for any location and securely store results on blockchain.
